Inside our Wheat Ridge studio
Our Wheat Ridge tattoo studio was designed to feel like an upscale, modern art studio while still being comfortable and welcoming, a place to make you feel good. The black walls and ceilings, carefully placed lighting and custom metallic floors give the space a polished, one-of-a-kind look.
There's a comfortable reception and waiting area to settle into and a dedicated workspace where you and your artist can focus on your piece. For a long sitting, bring one guest for company, or headphones or a tablet, and let the hours slip by.

Our tattoo portfolio
Choosing your artist matters as much as choosing your design, because every artist draws in a way of their own. These tattoos from our studio show you each one's hand, so you can find whose style suits your idea.

We named the studio Vanity Ink because caring how you look, and how you feel in your own skin, is something to be proud of. A tattoo can carry who you are and what you've lived through, and when it's designed with thought and put on with care, it gives you a little more confidence every time you catch it in the mirror.
Personalized artwork
We take the time to understand your ideas and create artwork that fits your vision, personality and body. We'll never rush you through the process or treat your tattoo like just another appointment.
An elevated experience
Vanity Ink offers the quality and professionalism of a high-end studio while staying comfortable, welcoming and down to earth, so you feel heard, respected and confident from the consultation through the finished piece.
Cleanliness and professionalism
We take sanitation, safety and attention to detail seriously, down to a dedicated clean room for sterilization, so you can relax knowing you're cared for in a clean, professional environment where quality comes first.
Cover-up tattoos and reworks
Cover-ups and reworks are a specialty of our studio, whether an old tattoo needs to disappear completely or just deserves new life. A good cover-up is usually bigger and darker than what's underneath, and some old tattoos need laser fading before they can be hidden well. At your consultation we'll look at yours together and talk through what's realistic, so you know what to expect before any ink goes down.

Our tattoo process
Here's what happens between booking a consultation and walking out with your new tattoo, so nothing catches you off guard.
1. Meet for a consultation
Come see us in person and talk through your idea, where it will go and how large it should be. Bring any references you love, along with the story behind the idea if it has one.
2. Set your date
Once the plan feels right, choose the date that works for you and put down a deposit to hold it. Larger pieces are usually spread across a few sessions, with time to heal in between.
3. We check in
Your artist reaches out one to three days before your appointment to make sure the idea still feels right. If anything has shifted, that's the moment to tell us.
4. See your design
Your artist sends you the design the morning of your appointment, so you can see it with fresh eyes. If something small needs changing, we can still adjust it that day before we begin.

Jeremy covered a faded piece on my forearm I'd hated for ten years. You can't find the old one anywhere in it. He was straight with me about going bigger, and he was right.

First tattoo and I was nervous. We went through placement in person at the consultation, and the design was waiting for me that morning. The studio is beautiful and spotless.

Black and grey portrait of my grandfather. Months later it still looks exactly like him. Worth every hour in the chair.

Kain did a small piece on my wrist. Easy to talk to, and he moved the stencil twice until it sat exactly right.

Three sessions on a Trash Polka half sleeve. Every session started on time and the room never felt rushed. It reads as one picture from across a room.

I brought a messy folder of references and left with a design that was better than any of them. Clear about the deposit and the timeline from the start.

Tattoo questions before you book
Every tattoo here starts at our $100 shop minimum, and beyond that the price depends on the size, detail and placement of your piece and your artist's rate. You'll go over the price at your consultation, and your deposit counts toward it.
No, just bring your idea and any references that capture what you like. We'll work out the design with you, because where a tattoo sits on your body shapes how it should be drawn.
Yes, we do both cover-ups and reworks. The old tattoo needs to be fully healed first, and clear photos of it, along with anything you know about its history, help your artist plan the new design.
Yes, we tattoo both. Hands are one of the harder places for ink to hold, so size and design are worth talking through carefully at your consultation.
You need to be 18 or older with a valid photo ID. Clients under 18 can only be tattooed with a parent or legal guardian present, both with ID, plus guardianship paperwork where it applies.
